Hello and welcome to the Alpha Theta chapter for Delta Delta Delta at the University of Pittsburgh!
As in our purpose, the Alpha Theta Chapter is proud to be a space where all members can foster lifelong friendship, develop into stronger characters, expand moral and intellectual understanding, and gain a support system to assist memebers through colllege. We love our sisterhood and celebrate it through trips to Sorgels Orchards, weekly Wednesday walks, and always offering a hug.
Beyond our sisterhood, we are impassioned by our love for St. Jude Research Hospital and work constantly to meet new fundraising goals through letter writing campaigns, wiffle ball tournaments, and rand Pie-a-Tri events on campus. St. Jude has a special place in all of our hearts and we are so thankful for the role we get to play in fighting childhood cancer and ensuring families can seek the care they need without the burden of a bill.
While sisterhood and service shine bright in our chapter, we are also proud of our tradition of academic excellence on campus and our focus on providing our members with career readiness oppritunities. Additionally, we work to prioritize wellness and diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging with events that support mental and physical health and promoting awareness, understanding, and action toward equity. In the Alpha Theta chapter, we work to ensure all members feel valued, respected, and empowered.
As a senior, I reflect on my four years and the role Tri Delta has played. With love and joy, I can truly say that Tri Delta has made my college experience in every way; I have met my best friends, thrived in my major, developed my passion for service and St. Jude, and found a community that encourages me to grow both individually and as a leader. I am so thankful for Tri Delta and will always hold it close to my heart.
Delta Love and Mine,
