Letter from the Chapter

Hi! My name is Ella Baer and I am the Vice President of Membership Experience for Alpha Theta chapter of Delta Delta Delta.  I am a Biology Major and Chemistry Minor and am also obtaining two certificates: Conceptual Foundations of Medicine and Global Health. As Vice President of Membership Experience this year, I work to engage our chapter and uphold the Tri Delta ideals in creating a well-rounded collegiate member—from new member period to becoming alumnae. It is our hope that here at the University of Pittsburgh you not only find your home but make amazing friends and memories along the way.

 

Being apart of Tri Delta has been one of the most impactful experiences I've had during my time at Pitt. As a freshman, I found myself searching for the group of people who would bring out the best in me and show unwavering support—much like in my high school years. When recruitment came around in the spring, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity. Both Tri Delta and Fraternity and Sorority Life as a whole have given me friendships, lessons, and opportunities I can take with me for the rest of my life. Panhellenic at Pitt is a great community to be a part of, especially if you’re looking to make this bigger school seem a little smaller.

 

Myself and the rest of my chapter look forward to meeting everyone, and remember to stay true to yourself and just have fun! These are friendships and memories you’ll be able to have forever! We hope you find your perfect home just as we did in Tri Delta!
